Happy New Year is an upcoming movie from Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan. Shahrukh has planned to start this movie instantly after Om Shanti Om success. But at that time, script was not ready, so he has committed for the movies like Krazzy 4 , Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Billu Barber.

Now SRK is busy with Karan Johar‘s My Name Is Khan. After completing My Name Is Khan, he starts working for Happy New Year. He is going to produce this movie under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner.

Shahrukh Khan’s best freind Juhi Chawla is also going to appear in this movie.

2008 was not a successful year for Shahrukh Khan. His prestigious movie Rab Ne Banadi Jodi opposite Anushka Sharma failed to impress audience. It was successful movie at Box Office. But this Yash Raj Films product failed to meet the high expectations.

Boothnath and Krazzy 4 were SRK’s other movies in 2008. In Rakesh Roshan‘s Krazzy 4 Shahrukh has appeared in an item number.In Boothnath King Khan has given extended cameo appearance opposite Juhi Chawla.

These two movies also turned to be average grosses at Box Office.
